The Company is advised on an exclusive basis by Redefine International Property Management Limited ("RIPML"). RIPML has a management team with extensive property and finance experience in the listed property sector and have been active in the UK and Europe for over a decade.
Michael Watters : Chief Executive
Michael is a qualified engineer with a BSc Eng (Civil) Degree and an MBA. He has over 25 years' experience in the investment banking and real estate industries. He has held directorships of some of South Africa's top rated listed property funds including Sycom Property Fund and Hyprop Investments Limited as well as the Sapphire Retail Fund in the UK. He is CEO of the Redefine International Group.
Stephen Carlin : Executive Director
Stephen is a qualified engineer with over 29 years' experience in the real estate industry. He has been involved in many aspects of the industry, including property services, project management and development.
Andrew Rowell : Finance Director
Andrew is a Chartered Accountant with a BComm (Hons) Degree. He spent four years with PricewaterhouseCoopers, South Africa and the USA. Andrew was group accountant for Mvelaphanda Group, a listed investment company in South Africa, prior to joining the Redefine International Group.
Stephen Oakenfull : Chief Operating Officer
Stephen is a CFA charterholder with a BSc (Hons) Degree in Construction Management. He spent four years working as a management consultant for Turner & Townsend, an international construction and management consultancy, both in South Africa and London. Prior to joining Redefine International Fund Managers, Stephen was an analyst for DTZ Corporate Finance involved in raising capital for property developments and investments in the UK and Europe.
Philip Cooper : Non-executive Director
Philip is a chartered surveyor, with a BSc (Honours) in Urban Surveying, with over 27 years' experience of the property investment market and worked for 11 of those years with Weatherall Green & Smith. In 1996 he co-founded BCM, a real estate investment adviser, which acts primarily for property companies, geared funds and high net worth individuals.
Helder Pereira : CEO Redefine International Hotels
Helder was Managing Director of the South African based Southern Sun Group and also a Director of Tsogo Sun Holdings which had significant Casino interests in South Africa. He was responsible for over 80 hotels, from economy to luxury properties, including an International Convention Centre and over 9,000 employees. Helder has chaired the International Association of Holiday Inns (IAHI) EMEA and was on the IAHI Board. He contributed to this important Intercontinental Hotel Group committee for over 10 years.
Peter Katz : Executive Director Europe
Peter is a qualified Lawyer with a masters degree in taxation. He has over 8 years' experience in law and taxation having worked in the property department of one of Australia's largest law firms as well as being a senior tax manager at Deloitte and Touche. For the last 5 years Peter has been sourcing property acquisitions and banking finance in Western Europe.
Vedran Kosoric : Senior Asset Manager UK Portfolio
Vedran is a chartered surveyor and a member of the RICS, with a BSc (Hons) degree from the University of Reading. Prior to joining Redefine International Group, he worked for Land Securities Trillium, now Telereal Trillium, one of the UK's largest property companies. He was responsible for creating value for shareholders by proactive asset management of public and private sector property portfolios, managed within the Corporate Real Estate Group.
Darryl Kohler : Group Development Manager
Darryl is a registered professional engineer with a BSc Eng. (Civil) degree and a Graduate Diploma in Construction Management. He practiced as an Engineer for 15 years before entering the property industry where he worked for several years with a dynamic property development company in South Africa. Prior to joining Redefine International he developed and managed his own property portfolio of Office, Residential and Petrol Filling Station interests.
Nick Gregory : Senior Asset Manager UK Retail
Nick is a qualified chartered surveyor, with an MSc in Property Investment from Cass Business School. Nick has ten years experience in the shopping centre sub-sector, firstly with The Glanmore Property Fund and latterly six years with Hammerson, one of the UK’s largest REITs. Nick was asset manager for three super prime centres at Hammerson, including the Bullring in Birmingham, and was responsible for a number of exciting asset management and development projects. Prior to this Nick worked in private practice in several analytical and professional roles.
